Review:

I liked this story. While James Patterson does tend to crank them out like candy, each one does have a bit different. With this one, I found the couple commiting the murders to be truly twisted, particularly when information about them starts getting out. I even managed to learn a few things about Europe while I was there.

The whole story is a cat and mouse chase through the EU (European Union) in an attempt to stop the killers. Along the way, more bodies are left in their path. I liked getting to know Jacob and Dessie, and at least see his motivations in catching the killers. All told, a pretty good thriller, that you should pick up if you enjoy the genre. I would recommend it PG-13 and above for language, content, etc.

While I haven’t read the book, I had to comment. James Patterson has been “cranking them out like candy” it seems lately, and, being a huge James Patterson fan I have to say that I’ve not been real thrilled with his collaborations with other authors. Hopefully this book will be better then others that I’ve read.

Tina, Bless your heart, you actually read my review. :-) But yeah, I mentioned that aspect because out of 5 books I received to review, 3 of them were by James Patterson, and released in like August, September, and November. I almost think at times, it’s like the old Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew books. Hardy Boys for example was written by Franklin W. Dixon, and Nancy Drew by Carolyn Keene. Neither Mr. Dixon, nor Ms. Keene though truly existed, there was teams of writers cranking out the books under those names.

I don’t get online as much as I used to, but I do enjoy reading your book reviews. I just don’t have time to comment as much as I would like. This is a great site Rick.
